XOLO CANTILLO

Picture
Plastic artist of contemporary character, who from his techniques and unconventional materials transports the public to avant-garde contexts.  After a 13 year artistic career, Xolo has participated in a large number of individual exhibitions, international fairs and collective exhibitions throughout the Colombian territory, as well as abroad.

His vibrant work is a reflection of all the experiences of his life.  Demonstrated  in the creative action of each of his paintings, one finds the  chapters saved from his life. He pours his artistic maturity into definite amorphous lines that come together in fixed, curved and rebellious planes. Each pictorial piece is an adaptation of timeless curved volumes, with the aim of affirming that life flows in multiple dimensions, fighting as an elevated action. Understanding the nature of this message involves deciphering the names of the information that leads to a process of self-knowledge and acceptance. Each of Xolo's creations are a  representation of our search for meaning throughout the stages of life, accepting the Supreme Necessity of form and memory.

Strength, dynamism, balance and disruption are the keys to understanding the world of this artist and being part of his cosmovision.
