Riad Miah is an artist who lives and works in New York City. His work has been exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Contemporary Art, White Box Gallery, deluxe projects, Rooster Contemporary Art, and Mayson Gallery in New York City.
Riad Miah's work has been shown nationally and internationally including Budapest, Belgium, New Jersey, Ohio, Chicago. He has participated in several artist residencies including the Vermont Studio Center, Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture in Maine, Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten (HISK) and is the recipient of grants and fellowships from the NY Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) in painting and Germination Europe (Germany).
Mr. Riad has been a professor of art at various Colleges and Universities including School of Visual Arts, New York Arts Program, Parsons The New School for Design, and The Ohio State University. He holds an M.F.A from Ohio State University and a B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts. His works are part of many private collections, as well as Universities and cooperate collections including Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp.
